Our mission is threefold: to prevent law enforcement line-of-duty deaths; to raise awareness of those sacrifices; and to support the surviving families of officers killed in the line of duty.

Through the dedication of our Board, staff, and volunteers, the Buddy Christian Foundation serves law enforcement families and works to protect the men and women who serve. Our programs are designed to advance each part of our mission in tangible, meaningful ways.

Preventing line-of-duty deaths.
Our highest hope is that every officer returns home safely at the end of each shift. To help make that possible, the Foundation is committed to placing Buddy Kit™ self-aid and buddy-aid trauma kits in the hands of law enforcement officers. These kits, paired with proper training, are designed to address life-threatening injuries in the field and save lives when seconds matter most.

Raising awareness.
We conduct year-round outreach and awareness campaigns to honor fallen officers and to ensure that line-of-duty deaths are neither overlooked nor forgotten.

Supporting surviving families.
The Foundation works to deliver programs to provide counseling and support services to the surviving family members of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, helping them navigate grief, loss, and the long road forward.
